Aug. 15

Public Safety Director Fred Porter conducted a shellfish detail on Main Road. There were no violations.

Porter responded to a medical complaint on Jetty Road. The complaint was resolved without incident.

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. There were no violations.

Porter assisted Islesboro Fire Department.

Aug. 14

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. There were no violations.

Porter received a report of a theft on Main Road. The complaint is under investigation.

Porter conducted a shellfish detail on Main and Comfort roads. There were no violations.

Porter received a child custody complaint.

Porter received a piece of property that was found on Main Road.

Porter received a report of a burglary on Meadow Pond Road. The complaint is still under investigation.

Aug. 10

Porter received a report of a burglary on Alumni Drive. After investigating, he closed out the case.

Porter assisted Islesboro Emergency Medical Services and fire department at a structure fire.

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. There were no violations.

Aug. 9

Porter responded to a request for assistance on Main Road.

Porter responded to a domestic disturbance on Main Road.

Aug. 8

Porter received a report about a domestic disturbance on Meadow Pond Road. He met with the involved parties and resolved the issue.

Porter responded to a parking issue on Ferry Road. The offending vehicle was moved by the owner.

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. Three violations were cited.

Porter responded to a motor vehicle crash on Billy Shore Road. John Bell, 24, of Islesboro, was charged with driving to endanger and operating without a license. The crash is still under investigation.

Aug. 7

Porter responded to an animal problem on Main Road. The issue was resolved by Islesboro animal control officer.

Porter responded to a request for assistance on Ferry Road.

Porter received a complaint about fraud on Main Road.

Porter received a complaint about an animal on Main Road. The incident was resolved after the dog returned to its owner.

Aug. 5

Porter received a motor vehicle complaint on Main Road. Jeff Lindelof, 50, of Swanville, was summoned for operating with three passengers improperly secured.
