The upcoming "WERU Family Radio Hour," hosted by Belfast's Scot Cannon, will feature a tour through Bryant Stove & Music Inc. in Thorndike with owners Joe and Bea Bryant. The show will air Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. and may be heard at 89.9 FM (Blue Hill) and 99.9 FM (Bangor), as well as streaming live at weru.org.

Joe starts the tour in the Doll Circus; Bea has spent decades collecting and Joe has spent as much time building this display. One switch sends hundreds of dolls and toys into marvelous motion. Listeners then pass through the steam engine room to the museum, a building filled with player pianos, band organs, hurdy-gurdys, calliopes and every phonograph known to man.

Listeners will hear them all, as well as Joe singing along; hear from Bea about her button collection; and “see” the beautiful stove restorations they are known for. Cannon calls the tour a “a wonderful family trip you must see, or hear, to believe.”
