The Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point, 75 Mechanic St., will present a concert by the Belfast Bay Fiddlers Friday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.

Belfast Bay Fiddlers is loosely organized group of amateur musicians devoted to playing and sharing traditional fiddle music; this concert will feature Rick Fitzsimmons. Instruments range from fiddles, mandolins, recorders and whistles to guitars, banjos, accordion and percussion. The group usually plays fiddle tunes from the New England contra dance tradition. Belfast Bay Fiddlers performs at many local events including contra dances for school children, summer festivals and at nursing homes.
