The Maine Garden, a day lily farm operated by Bill and Lynn Warman, seeks submissions from artists interested in showing their work within the five-acre garden next season.

The sole purpose of The Maine Garden is to promote, encourage and foster the development and improvement of the genus Hemerocallis. The Warmans hybridize for the unusual, such as two stalks from a single fan, breeding tetraploid to diploid or diploid to tetraploid. The result is six or seven way branching, great clear colors and round shape cultivars.

Exhibiting will be free of charge, and artists handle all sales. Artwork must be tasteful and kid-friendly. For consideration for spring of 2016, send one to five images, under 5MB, each to tmg@fairpoint.net. For more information, contact tmg@fairpoint.net or 342-5663 before 6 p.m.
