The Islesboro Department of Public Safety reported the following activity from Aug. 24 to Sept. 13.

Sept. 13

Public Safety Director Fred Porter received a report of suspicious activity on Main Road. The incident remains under investigation.

Sept. 12

Porter conducted a hunting detail on Meadow Pond Road. There were no violations.

Porter conducted a shellfish detail at Mill Dam, Parkers Cove and Hutchins Island. One digger was checked but no violations were found.

Porter conducted an agency assisted on Main Road.

Sept. 11

Porter assisted emergency medical services on Ryders Cove Road.

Sept. 10

Porter received a report of a wildlife problem on Main Road. An eagle was found on the side of the road but by the time officers arrived it was gone.

Sept. 9

Porter received a civil complaint on Main Road.

Sept. 8

Porter received a report regarding a motor vehicle crash on Heald Road. After investigating, Porter determined the crash was non reportable because it occurred on private property.

Porter conducted a shellfish detail on Ryder Cove Lane and Point Comfort Road. There were no violations.

Porter assisted Maine Warden Service with recovery of a juvenile eagle.

Porter received a fraud complaint on Meadow Pond Road.

Sept. 5

Porter conducted a public assist on Ferry Road.

Sept. 3

Porter conducted a shellfish detail at Mill Dam, Broad Cove and Hutchins Island. There were no violations.

Aug. 29

Porter responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Main Road. The issue was resolved after Porter met with the involved parties.

Porter received a report of an alarm on Utgoff Lane.

Aug. 28

Porter conducted a shellfish detail near 700 Acre Island. There were no violations.

Porter responded to a burglary complaint on Ferry Road. The complaint is still under investigation.

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. There were no violations.

Aug. 27

Porter received a report of a motor vehicle complaint on Main Road. The complaint was determined to be unfounded.

Aug. 26

Porter responded to a 911 misdial on Aldrich Road. An investigation determined everyone at the residence was fine.

Aug. 25

Porter conducted a welfare check on Ryder Cove Road.

Porter conducted a parking enforcement detail on Ferry Road. One violation was cited.

Aug. 24

Porter received a report of an animal problem on Meadow Pond Road. After investigating, Porter determined the complaint was unfounded.
