The local Cold Comfort Theater troupe believes it is important to foster a love of theater by watching the pros at work. This season, CCT is offering company members two opportunities to that including a trip to New York City.

The New York City Broadway Trip, March 15 and 16, is open to six Cold Comfort company members age 18 or older. The group will carpool to Portland; travel by bus to New York; see “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”; spend the night in The Big Apple; and wake up to see “The Phantom of the Opera” the next day before heading home.

A fee of $200 will be charged to help cover the costs of this big trip. The full trip package will include Broadway tickets, transportation, a $50 food budget and accommodation. Initial non-refundable 50 percent deposit of $100 is due Nov. 1, and total payment is due by Jan. 1. For more information and to register, email ColdComfortTheater@gmail.com.
