In honor of World Polio Day, which is widely recognized on Oct. 24, the Rotary Club of Belfast is sponsoring a four-mile walk through the scenic streets of Belfast as part of Rotary's 27-year mission to eradicate the crippling childhood disease. Members are asking for pledges to continue this support.

In the past two years, the Belfast Rotary has raised more than $4,000 in support of End Polio Now, an international campaign, along with other charitable organizations, to eradicate polio.

To get involved with the walk either by pledging support or joining the walk, talk with any Belfast Rotarian or visit rotarybelfast.org for more information.
