Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine is seeking volunteer advocates for the 24-hour crisis and support line.

Volunteer advocates receive a small hourly stipend for being on call and carrying a pager. The hourly stipend amount increases during a support line call, hospital accompaniment call, or police accompaniment call.

Experience in a social services field is desirable. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Extensive training will be provided. The training is unpaid.

Anyone interested in learning more or to schedule a pre-training screening interview, should contact SASSMM's Community Advocate, Molly Donlan, by phone at 725-2181 or email communityadv@sassmm.org.
