Law enforcement officials with Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity:

Sept. 30

Amanda L. Huard, 33, of Wiscasset, operating after suspension.

Sept. 29

Samuel D. Jarvis, 64, of Bradenton, Fla., arrested for operating under the influence.

Sept. 28

Caleb Roy, 22, of Detroit, violation of condition of release.

Sept. 23

Billy J. Hall, 28, of Monroe, cultivation of marijuana.

Deputy Kevin Littlefield responded to a crash on Belfast Road (Route 52) in Northport at 10:38 a.m. A 2004 International two truck driven by Harry Buttery of Knox was parked on the side of the road as he attempted to hook a chain on the rear of the vehicle. As Buttery was working, a 2003 Chevrolet passenger van driven by Robert Porter of Lincolnville attempted to swerve around the truck. However, Porter struck Buttery and the front left wheel of the two truck.

Porter was not injured in the crash. Buttery suffered a possible leg injury.

Sept. 22

Owen B. Wagner, 18, of Allentown, N.J., alleged speed 74 mph in a 55 mph zone; no proof of insurance.

An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
