Back in Time, a series of informal talks and recollections by town elders, is planned throughout 2016 as part of the bicentennial celebration of Brooks.

To jump start the series, three wise “old-timers” — Don Nickerson, Arthur Humphrey and Steve Hall — will share their stories about farming Friday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Varney Memorial Building, 24 Veterans Highway/Route 7.

The trio’s rich narrations of the past are sure to interest, delight and educate all who attend. The event is free and open to all.
