Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital announce the arrival of Dr. Kerry Lavigne, a board-certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training specializing in skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery.

Lavigne received her medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed both an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., where she also served as co-chief resident. She completed a fellowship in procedural dermatology/Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., under the direction of Dr. Algin Garrett.

Lavigne is a Fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Maine Dermatologic Society as well as the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

She practiced for two years with Dermatology Associates in Portland and Biddeford prior to joining Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital. Lavigne lives in Camden with her husband, Rick, a native Mainer, and their two sons.
