Reps. Christine Burstein, D-Lincolnville, Joan Welsh, D-Rockport, Pinny Beebe-Center, D-Rockland, and Chuck Kruger, D-Thomaston, earned perfect ratings for the first session of the 127th Legislature from Maine Conservation Voters.

The statewide environmental advocacy group took into account five key bills from the 127th Legislature. The measures included metallic mining rules, restoring energy efficiency funding to the Efficiency Maine Trust and requiring the governor to release millions of dollars in voter-approved bonds for the Land for Maine’s Future Program.
