The Islesboro Department of Public Safety reported the following activity from Oct. 8 to Oct. 17.

Oct. 17

Public Safety Director Fred Porter responded to a theft complaint on Keller Point Road. The complaint is still under investigation.

Porter conducted house checks on West Bay Road, Wood Lane and Pendleton Point Road.

Porter responded to a traffic hazard complaint on Main Road.

Porter conducted a hunting detail on Main Road and Meadow Road. There were no violations.

Oct. 16

Porter responded to an alarm on Otter Creek Lane.

Oct. 14

Porter responded to an alarm on Ellis Lane.

Porter conducted house checks on Pendleton Point Road.

Oct. 10

Officer Nickolas Von Husen responded to a car crash on Main Road. Jerome Reynolds IV, 18, of Liberty, struck a deer while driving south on Main Road.

Von Husen assisted Islesboro EMS.

Von Husen responded to an alarm on Abrams Mountain Road.

Oct. 9

Porter conducted an agency assist with Islesboro Central School.

Oct. 8

Porter received a suspicious activity complaint on Pendleton Point Road. The complaint is under investigation.

Porter received a complaint about suspicious activity on Meadow Pond Road. The complaint is still under investigation.

Porter responded to an alarm on Pendleton Point Road.
