The Camden Conference free Community Events Program continues its monthly discussion series offering participants an opportunity to explore some key issues of the vast African continent in preparation for the 2016 Camden Conference, The New Africa.

November’s facilitated discussions will address “Africa’s Resources: Who Wins, Who Loses?” at the Camden Public Library Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m.; at the Belfast Free Library Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m.; and at the Rockland Public Library, Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m..

December’s topic is “War and Reconciliation – Africa’s Dilemma,” and in January, the focus will be on “The New Africa: Challenges and Hope.”

Participants will have the opportunity to be part of a lively discussion based on selected readings and videos, which can be found at www.camdenconference.org. All are encouraged to read and view the selections ahead of the discussion.
