The Women of St. Margaret's will hold a Harvest Tea and Bake Sale Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish House at 95 Court St. All proceeds will benefit community outreach projects. Past beneficiaries have included the Greater Belfast Area Ministerium Food Cupboard and the Game Loft.

The tea, at a cost of $12, includes a plate of sweet and savory goodies. New this year is a "youth rate" of $10, so attendees are invited to bring their daughters, granddaughters, nieces and friends to start a tradition with the younger generation.

The bake sale will include breads, rolls, cookies, and seasonal jams and jellies. There will also be a jewelry table with handcrafted and vintage items, and a silent auction.

The tea offers an opportunity to gather with friends and loved ones to enjoy a time-honored tradition in a relaxed atmosphere, while at the same time doing some early holiday shopping. FMI: stmargaretsbelfast.org.
