Joy Osterhout, MS, MCHES, will begin as regional director of community health and wellness for Pen Bay Healthcare and Waldo County Healthcare Nov. 16. She will work directly with community health and wellness managers at Pen Bay Healthcare and Waldo County Healthcare to provide health information and resources to the Midcoast community. Osterhoust will also oversee the Access to Care program and act as program coordinator at both facilities.

“We believe Joy will be a great fit for our organization and brings with her a solid track record of implementing and sustaining community health programs.” said Mike Rich, vice president, rehabilitation and community health.

Prior to joining Pen Bay Healthcare and Waldo County Healthcare, Osterhout was the Healthy Living Resource Center program leader at MaineGeneral Health in Augusta and the owner of Health & Education Communication Consultants in Berkley, Calif., and Koloa, Hawaii.
