Boy Scout Troop 77 of Liberty will host an Early Bird Holiday Craft Fair Nov. 14 at Liberty Community Hall.

“Working with the community is an important part of Scouting,” said Zach Barboza, Patrol Leader of Troop 77. “We thought this would be a great way to give local crafters and vendors some exposure and local community members an opportunity to purchase handmade or other gifts for the Holidays.”

This event will be one of the Troop’s largest fundraisers of the year. The money collected from the vendors goes to the Troop and will be used to fund camperships for the boys to attend summer camp, as well as the purchase of merit badges and other awards. Currently, the Troop has five young men working to become Eagle Scouts by the end of summer 2016 and two just beginning their journey as Boy Scouts.

There are still spaces for crafters and vendors available. If you would like to participate, or for more information, contact Lynn Barboza at lynn.barboza@gmail.com or 593-2186.
