Lincolnville Fine Art Gallery, Route 1 at Lincolnville Beach, continues to show Maine artists’ work through fall and winter. Current hour are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week and by appointment.

Among the artists whose work is featured is Philip Barter, a master simplifier of northern vision and kin to some of the painters in Canada's Group of Seven. Kathleen Mack is in her second season with the gallery, showing works in marble, bronze sculpture and oil paintings. They reflect her interest in gesture, motion and character, influenced by her life in Round Pond and Umbertide, Umbria.

Jill Hoy creates work inspired by direct observation of the landscape, including seascapes, architecture and gardens. Her late husband was Jon Imber, featured in the recent film “My Left Hand.”
