Law enforcement officials with Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity:

June 6

Thomas A. McAllian, 70, of Monroe, inspection sticker violation.

June 4

Connor H. Jackson, 17, of Searsport, alleged speed 60 mph in a 45 mph zone.

June 3

Kristin Bickford, 34, was driving on Martin Corner Road toward Hope Road in Lincolnville when a deer ran into the road. Bickford was unable to avoid striking the animal. She was not injured in the collision and the deer ran into the woods.

Christopher D. Montminy, 22, of Knox, inspection sticker violation.

Astin Merry, 31, of Swanville, arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

A 16-year-old driver was not injured when she struck and broke a utility pole while driving on Loggin Road in Frankfort. The driver told police she looked down at her cell phone and her vehicle started to drift off the road. She attempted to correct but was unable to avoid hitting the pole. Her vehicle was destroyed in the crash.

Samuel Smith, 23, of St. Louis, Mo., failure to stop at a stop sign; failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.

Caitlin Alger, 25, of Belfast, arrested for operating under the influence.

Dale Haskins, 18, of Swanville, operating without a license; operating unregistered motor vehicle.

An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
