July 5

Michael L. Miller, 59, of Winterport, inspection sticker violation.

July 4

Steven Lamperta, 45, of Jackson, expired inspection sticker, failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to provide license/permit.

July 2

Emily Dyer, 21, of Stockton Springs, arrested on warrant for failure to pay fine, operating after suspension.

Donald Joy, 34, of Swanville, warrant, failure to pay fine, failure to appear.

Cynthia Ann Yoakum, 34, of Manchester, Md., alleged speed 52 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Sylvia B. Lowry, 58, of Monroe, exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more, alleged speed 61 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Frankie J. Colbry, 27, of Winterport, arrested for domestic violence assault.

Clarence J. Lawrence, 38, of Belfast, assault.

Charles I. Haskins, 21, of Swanville, arrested for violating a protection from abuse order.

Kathryn B. Hogeland, of Unity, animal trespass and keeping a dangerous dog.

Gail M. Sawyer, 69, of Swanville, operating under the influence.

Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to a single-vehicle crash on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks at 8:39 p.m. The driver, 30-year-old Andrew B. Armstrong of Belfast, fell asleep and his 2003 Dodge pickup truck struck a guardrail. Armstrong was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash but he was not injured. The vehicle, which was not inspected or insured and had illegally attached false plates, was towed from the scene.

An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
