Summer is not technically coming to an end, but Labor Day weekend marks passage of the season for many. The annual Camden Windjammer Festival runs Friday through Sunday, Sept. 2 through 4, around the waterfront and in the harbor-view parks; and includes two big nighttime concerts at the Camden Opera House — Noel Paul Stookey (Saturday) and James Montgomery & The Nor’Easters (Sunday). At Unity College, where the fall semester has begun, Low Lily (a Lissa Schneckenburger project formerly known as Annalivia) performs at the Center for the Performing Arts Friday night. On Saturday afternoon, the annual Summer Concert Series wraps up another season with a free performance by singer/songwriter James McMurtry at Savage Oakes Vineyard and Winery in Union. And those who prefer to spend their holiday weekend in their own backyards or at the beach can tune into this summer’s blues fest, thanks to the North Atlantic Blues Festival Rewind Special Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m. on Maine's KISS-FM stations.
