Jack "Buzz" McKay III, 36, died Feb. 18, 2017, as the result of a snowmobile accident. He was born March 12, 1980, in Bangor, a son of Jack and Cindy (Davis) McKay. He graduated from Nokomis Regional High, class of 1998, and was employed by Atlantic Plant Maintenance as a superintendent of millwrights for the northern region. He was a member of Local Union 1121-Millwrights since 2001.

Buzz will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. He was blessed with many friends and loved ones and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Jack Jr. and Cindy McKay of Etna; his wife, Kristen McKay of Etna; grandparents, Bill and Jeanne Davis of Corinth, and Nancy McKay of Frankfort; aunts and uncles, Sue and Brian Varney of Etna, Sue and Bob Seger, and Samantha McKay, all of Frankfort, Richard McKay and Jean Brasslett of Winterport, Tim and Traci McKay of Florida and Terry and Lisa Ripley of Swanville; as well as too many cousins and second cousins to list. He will also be fondly remembered by Raymond Graves and Ryan Curry, both of Etna.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Jack Sr. and by uncle Andy McKay.

There will not be any services at this time. However, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at crosbyneal.com.
