The driver of a pickup truck that crashed, killing two men, was indicted on related charges this month.

Adam J. Littlefield, 32, of Winterport, was indicted on two counts of manslaughter, two counts of aggravated criminal operating under the influence, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation and three counts of violating a condition of release.

The charges relate to a Sept. 3, 2016, crash when a Toyota Tacoma driven by Littlefield rolled several times after striking a utility pole on North Searsport Road. Littlefield's two passengers, John Moriarty, 59, of Bangor and 35-year-old Brad Pomeroy of Searsport died at the scene. All three men were ejected from the vehicle.

Littlefield was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center to be treated for multiple injuries he suffered in the crash.

State Police could not immediately determine who was driving at the time but cited speed as a factor.

He is being held on $10,000 bail, according to court documents.
