Sally Ann Austin, 59, passed away April 4, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born in Colebrook, N.H., Nov. 21, 1957, the daughter of Graydon and Irvina  (Grover) Williams, the third of seven children.

Sally was revered as an extremely kind, hardworking woman. She enjoyed working at Rite-Aid in Bucksport for 12 years and was beloved by her Rite-Aid family, such as her co-worker Julie who was so important to her, and many customers whom she considered her dear friends.

Sally loved dogs and liked making occasional trips to the Hollywood Casino with her friend Elaine. She had been looking forward to retiring in Connecticut with her son Richard and his girlfriend Christine.

Sally is also survived by her two sisters whom she loved so much and remained close with her entire life, Mary Cameron and Penny Couture, along with her two brothers, Roger Williams and Michael Williams. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Teddy Mickelboro and Jack Mickelboro; and the love of her life, her husband Maynard "Buddy" Austin.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sally's memory may be made to an animal shelter of one's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Downeast Direct Cremation of Bangor.
