Al L. Robbins, 61, of Stockton Springs passed away peacefully at home May 16, 2017, after battling a long-term illnesses. He was surrounded by his family.

He was born at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast on March 29, 1956. He was the son of Alpheus and Shirley Robbins. Al worked with his dad in carpentry, dug clams and worked Jarka's part time. He graduated from Searsport High School.

Al is survived by his two sons Amos A. Robbins of Rockport and Seth Prescott of Stockton; brother Peter Sr. of Stockton; sister Myrtilla Laieski of Swanville; four precious grandchildren: Jazmine, Cody, Ellie and Mariah; and nephews Peter Jr., Gary and Alphy.

He was predeceased by his father Alpheus and nephew Mike Merithew.

The family would like to thank Dr. Connelly and oncology staff for their care and consideration of Al and family. Thanks to Dr. Read and staff at Stockton Springs Regional Health Center for their care also. It has been much appreciated. Thanks to the entire staff of Beacon Hospice. To our town volunteers, ambulance services and law enforcement, a big thank you.

Al requested there be no services. Arrangements are under care of Cremation Basics Inc., Bangor.
