Teresa Alice (Vigue) Price, 65, peacefully departed from her family and loved ones June 6, 2017, at Capital City Manor following several long illnesses. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul C. Price, her mother, Joan, father Amie, sister Caroline Taylor, brothers Terry and Tom.

Teresa is survived by her stepson, Terrell, and his wife, Teresa; many stepchildren and their families; three brothers, Tony, Tim, Chris and their families. Teresa was known as Nanny-Gram by her many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren who, along with her lifelong friend Arlene McLaughlin, miss her dearly.

Teresa graduated from Medomak Valley High School in 1970 and received her CNA license soon thereafter. She practiced at several private institutions before beginning her career at the Togus VA facility, where she cared for thousands of veterans for 32 years before retiring in 2010.

A special thank-you to Terrell and his immediate family for all their love, care and special time spent with Teresa during the past several years. The family is also appreciative of the staff and caregivers associated with Capital City and Hall Dale Manors for the professional support and friendship provided to Teresa during her residency at those facilities. MaineGeneral HomeCare and Hospice, along with the PDN staff, were instrumental in providing continuous professional care for Teresa during the last week of her life, and their efforts are greatly appreciated by the family.

Arrangements are with Plummer Funeral Home for a graveside service to be held at Kling Cemetery in Augusta Friday, June 23, at 3 p.m. Friends are invited to share their memories and condolences with the family at the service or online at plummerfh.com.
