The swim is strictly informal. Swimmers of all ages are welcome, as are volunteer spotters and timers.

Water temperature at this time is 76 to 80 degrees. Most of course is shallow enough to stand and walking is permitted. Participants should appreciate that many, perhaps most, swimmers are not racing.

After the swim, many participants, helpers and spectators will socialize at the Hope Library at the Hope Town Office. There will be snacks and soft drinks; serious lunch is bring your own.
