The Peace and Justice Group of Waldo County will hold its annual solstice potluck supper at 5:30 p.m.; and the monthly Film Forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the Abbott Room of Belfast Library, 106 High St.

The film is "Rhythms of the Heart" (2016, USA), the story of a Passamaquoddy craftsman's journey to preserve family life and tradition while facing a life threatening illness. Thom Willey, a Maine filmmaker from Southwest Harbor honors David Moses Bridges, environmentalist and craftsman in this recently released documentary, with original music by Chris Gray. The filmmaker with be at the showing, and there will be DVDs available to purchase.
