Law enforcement officials with Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:

Dec. 4

Denise M. Anderson, 42, of Freedom, alleged speed 39 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Dec. 3

Kenneth D. Brown, 56, of Belfast, operating after suspension (with prior convictions).

Dec. 2

Eric C. Littlefield, 37, of Waldo, arrested for operating under the influence (one prior conviction).

Nov. 30

Bruce M Johnston, 66, of Bremen, inspection sticker violation.

Nov. 28

Jason P. Wilkie, 31, of Belfast, operating after suspension (two prior convictions).

Michael W. Thompson, 39, of Lincolnville, fugitive from justice.

According to police, Thompson was appearing at Waldo County District Court on multiple charges (operating after revocation, operating under the influence and theft) when police learned that he had violated parole conditions in Kentucky. "Once Kentucky found out he committed a new crime in Maine they revoked his parole," Belfast Police Sgt. Dan Fitzpatrick said. Thompson is now serving time at Maine Correctional Center in Windham. Local officials were unable to confirm whether, or when, he would be extradited to Kentucky.

Nov. 27

David H. Brandt, 67, of Northport, arrested for violating a protection order.

Nov. 22

Benjamin F. Spencer, 51, of Belfast, no proof of insurance.
