Camden Shakespeare Festival, the Midcoast’s professional Shakespeare theater, is seeking actors and volunteers and donated actor housing for its 2018 season, which will feature “Twelfth Night” and “Othello.” The performances will run July 25 to Aug. 12 and are presented in conjunction with Camden Public Library.

“Twelfth Night” is one of the Bard’s masterpieces of comedy, with some of the funniest characters ever put into a play. “Othello” is one of Shakespeare’s four great tragedies: a black general marries a white aristocrat and their love is compromised by a treacherous villain.

Anyone interested in auditioning for roles, being involved behind the scenes or donating actor housing should contact Stephen Legawiec at info@camdenshakespeare.org. For more information about this amazing summer experience, visit camdenshakespeare.org.
