Our Town Belfast invites the community to this year’s second Home for the Holidays dance Wednesday, Dec. 27, beginning 8 p.m. at United Farmers Market of Maine, 18 Spring St.

There will be fun, food and dancing well into the evening as everyone meets up with visiting friends and family and shakes off the holiday blues (and those extra helpings) with one of Maine’s hottest music acts — The Ghost of Paul Revere.

Maine’s own holler roots band’s 2017 tour shows in Gardiner and Portland (including New Year’s Eve) are already sold out, so the dance is the last chance this year in Maine to take in GOPR’s critically acclaimed blend of bluegrass, folk and old-school rock. The band is currently touring in support of its new album, “Monarch.”

Doors will open 7:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar provided by Trillium Caterers. Tickets are $15 in advance via brownpapertickets.com; admission at the door is $20.

Proceeds from this concert fundraiser support Our Town Belfast's mission to promote economic health and human happiness in Belfast. Our Town Belfast thanks event sponsor Camden National Bank and an anonymous donor for supporting this Home for the Holidays dance. For more information, visit ourtownbelfast.org/jinglebelfast/.
