The annual "What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor?: A Celebration of the Human Form" show of paintings, paper work, sculpture and photography will take place next month at Studio 53, 53 Townsend Ave.

Exhibiting nudity can be challenging in a traditional and conservative New England, but "What's Nude" will endeavor once again to present, through a variety of interpretations, the beauty and shape of the human form. There also will be a wall of "small nudes" comprising figurative postcard-sized original artwork in pencil, wash, graphite and watercolor.

Artists are invited to submit two pieces of work; and an unlimited number of "small nudes" to the show. Deadline is Friday, Jan. 26. A submission form may be obtained by emailing or calling the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce at 633-2353.
