Downtown shop Alder & Vine and restaurant Ondine are teaming up to host a Sonic Supper Thursday, Feb. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the restaurant, 108 Main St. The evening of music and food is a nod to Imbolc, the Wiccan/pagan holiday that marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox.

Ondine is creating a special menu for the event, paying tribute to the seasonal food and traditions of Imbolc. There will be live ambient-and-more music by The Orchardist and osmia from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., as well as tarot readings and vendors with crystals and spell kits for sale. Attendees are encouraged to bring their crystals, which will be arranged around the musicians to be cleansed and charged by the sonic waves.
