Bruce A. Peaslee, 84, died peacefully Jan. 26, 2018, at Waldo County General Hospital with his wife by his side. He was born in Lynn, Mass., June 17, 1933, a son of Ernest and Rachel (Lindsey) Peaslee.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 65 years, Doris (Frawley) Peaslee; son David and wife Barbara, son Daniel and wife Sandra and daughter Julie and husband Leonard Howard. He is also survived by grandchildren William, Abby, Jennifer, Susan, Justin, Jessica and Sarah as well as 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Richard, William, Ralph, Nathan and Chester; and sisters Dorothy and Edna.
An accomplished machinist, he worked for several companies throughout this life retiring from Penobscot Frozen Foods. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Korean War. His sense of humor was well-known by sharing jokes and an occasional prank. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
