The Ward brothers have been pinning down success on wrestling mats since they were little boys and the incredibly talented Mount View student-athletes were back at their grappling best on Saturday, Feb. 17 in the state Class B championships at Wells High School.

The Wards nailed down individual titles, as Mark Ward won at 138 pounds and Zachary Ward at 145.

Mount View had a remarkable all-around day as the Mustangs finished third among a deep, talented field.

Belfast also had a handful of wrestlers at the meet and those Lions performed well.

In fact, for Mount View, Mark Ward finished first at 138, Zachary Ward first at 145, Jason Barnard third at 160 and Nathan Fuller third at 285.

For Belfast, Chase Curry placed fourth at 132.
