Konya, a 656-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Huasco, Chile, and delivered road salt. It departed Feb. 18 for Norfolk, Va.

Feb. 9

Industrial Swift, a 482-foot general cargo ship, coming from Sattahip, Thailand, with a delivery of steel for Cianbro Corp. moved from the anchorage in Searsport to the dock at Mack Point. It departed Feb. 13 for Portland, then continued to Esbjerg, Denmark.

Feb. 11

Genesis Glory, a Genesis Energy tug and fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Portsmouth, N.H., and delivered kerosene. It departed Feb. 13 for Saint John, New Brunswick.

Feb. 14

Denali, a Kirby Corp. tug and fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from New York and delivered ethanol. It departed Feb. 15 for Portland, then continued to Boston.

Feb. 16

Great Eastern, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Bucksport from Portland and delivered No. 2 heating oil. It departed Feb. 17 for Saint John, New Brunswick.

Feb. 18

Industrial Strength, a 482-foot general cargo ship, arrived in Searsport from Sattahip, Thailand, via Ensenada, Mexico, and New Orleans. It is the second of two ships (see Feb. 9) to come to Searsport with steel for Cianbro Corp. A representative from the Brewer-based construction company was mum about the what the materials would be used for, but said an announcement would be forthcoming soon. The ship departed Feb. 21 for Portland.
