A group of approximately 70 Mount View Middle School students participated in a walkout, Monday, Feb. 26, in protest of gun violence in schools.
According to a letter from Mount View Middle School Principal Quinton Donahue, multiple staff members from the complex helped supervise the students outside the building.
The students behaved respectfully and then returned back to class following their protest, Donahue said.
