Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following recent activity:

Feb. 23

Jesse W. Dodge, 36, of Frankfort, attaching false plates.

Ryan Peterson, 35, of Stockton Springs, operating under the influence.

Peterson allegedly was trying to pass two cars and a plow truck on Route 1 in Stockton Springs during a hail and sleet storm when he lost control of his vehicle, slid and hit the car in front of him, driven by Stanley Pelletier, 49, of Ellsworth. Neither driver was injured. Peterson was given a breath test and found to have blood alcohol content of 0.12, according to police.

Feb. 22

Emily R. Herman, 19, of Unity, alleged speed 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, Quaker Hill Road, Unity.
