Cold Comfort Theater will present the works of six emerging playwrights in a Festival of One-Act Plays Friday and Saturday nights, April 6 and 7, at the University of Maine’s Hutchinson Center.

The staged readings will begin 7 p.m. both nights, three plays per evening. Each night will end with a question and answer period between the audience and the playwrights. Lincoln Blake will provide musical interludes.

The six plays and playwrights are: “Conjured Eyes” by Bundy H. Boit; “Bicycle Built for Two” by Delvyn Case, Jr; “Jerry Hofnagle’s Top Ten List” by Laura Emack; “Lunacy, Buffoonery and a Little Bit of Jesus” by Dusty Raatz; “For Joe and Sara” by Michael Rowe; and “What Lies Beneath” by Chalmers.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the UMaine Hutchinson Scholarship Fund.
