Law enforcement officials with Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:

March 19

David L. Bunker, 33, of Belfast, operating after suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, no proof of insurance.

March 18

Eric Gobin, 40, of Searsport, arrested for operating under the influence, endangering the welfare of a child (two charges), operating without a license, open container, no inspection sticker, Main Street.

According to police, an off-duty Belfast officer passed a car on Poors Mill Road that was driving unusually slow. The vehicle then sped to catch up with the officer with its high-beams on. The officer took the license plate number and called on-duty police, who pulled the vehicle over on Main Street near Family Dollar. Gobin, the driver, was arrested based on a field sobriety test. According to police, there were two children in the car, ages 7 and 11.

Zackary B. Marston, 27, of Searsmont, operating under the influence (one prior conviction), Route 52.
