Monroe Community Church, UCC, 28 W. Main St., will be open from noon to 3 p.m., with a worship service at 7 p.m.

Ecumenical Good Friday Service at the First Church in Belfast, 6 p.m.

Good Friday service at 6 p.m. at Unity United Methodist Church.

At St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Belfast, Rite One Eucharist with music will be celebrated by the Rev. Bob Hargreaves at noon with the Passion Story from John’s Gospel.

Good Friday service at 7 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Brooks, 22 Veterans Highway (Route 7).

Stockton Springs Community Builders has organized an Easter Egg Hunt at Fort Point Lighthouse from 10 to 11 a.m. Bring a basket, meet the Easter Bunny, and maybe even win a prize! For more information, email sscommunitybuilders@gmail.com.

Easter Sunday, April 1

Greater Bay Area Ministerium will again host its Easter Sunrise service, 6 a.m., at the Belfast Boathouse.

The First Church in Belfast, UCC, hosts its annual Easter breakfast from 6:30 to 9 a.m. in the Community Hall at 55 Spring St. (corner of Spring and Court streets). Menu includes eggs and bacon, pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, and mixed fruit. All are invited to come and start Easter with a hearty breakfast.

First Church worship service begins at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary with special music by the Chancel Choir and Communion. First Church celebrates open Communion; all are welcome to share in the bread and cup. Fellowship and refreshments after worship, with the Easter Basket Fun for the kids with Pastor Kate in the Parlor.

Stockton Springs Community Church invites everyone to join in celebrating Easter at a 6 a.m. sunrise service at Fort Point Lighthouse in Stockton Springs. Breakfast will follow at 6:30 a.m. at the church, 20 Church St. FMI, visit StocktonSpringsChurch.com.

At St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Belfast, the Rev. Bob Hargreaves will celebrate Festive Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. with a social coffee hour in the parish hall between the services.

The traditional sunrise service will be held on Oak Hill, Route 69, Winterport, at 6:30 a.m. with Joe Dunton officiating. This will be the 44th year at Oak Hill.

Easter brunch will be at the Winterport Baptist Church at 9 a.m. Please bring a breakfast/brunch dish to share. Beverages will be provided. Easter service begins at 10 a.m. following brunch.

Ellingwood's Corner United Methodist Church in Winterport will have a sunrise service on Blueberry Hill at 6 a.m. with a breakfast following at 7 a.m. Regular Sunday service is at 8:30 a.m., followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

An Easter sunrise service will be held at Freedom Motors in Frankfort at 6:15 a.m. A potluck breakfast will follow at the Frankfort Congregational Church Vestry with Sunday church service beginning at 9 a.m. All are welcome.

Morrill Baptist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 9:30 a.m. at Weymouth School, behind the church facilities. Worship service is 8 to 9 a.m., followed by fellowship and coffee from 9:30 to 10 a. m. Second worship service is 10:15 to 11:15 a.m.

The First Congregational Church of Brooks, 22 Veterans Highway (Route 7), will have a sunrise service at 6:15 a.m. on Littlefield Road, Jackson, with hot drinks and goodies to follow in the house. The regular Sunday worship service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Monroe Community Church, UCC, will conduct a sunrise service at 6:15 a.m. in Gesner Park, Route 139, going toward Winterport on the left. An Easter worship service will be held at 9 a.m. at the church, 28 W. Main St.

Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church (CBBC), 556 N. Searsport Road (aka Nickels Road), Prospect, celebrates Resurrection Sunday with adult and children's Sunday schools from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a fellowship brunch from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., then a regular service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All are welcome, regardless of denomination.
