Ryder Wren #121 of Thorndike kicked off the race season at Capeway Rovers MX in Carver, Mass., March 31.

Ryder raced in the 50cc 7-8, with 10 others, and the 50cc open, with 16 others, on his Cobra 50cc and then made his first-ever 65 class in the 65cc 7-9, with 16 others, on his Cobra 65.

Ryder raced kids from all over New England, many whom have been training on and off throughout the winter, where as Ryder was "fresh off the couch" from a long winter. He came home with a third overall in the 50cc 7-8, a fourth overall in the 50cc open, and a fourth in the 65 7-8.
