Neighborhood Arts, 21 Main St./Route 1, offers a Vacation Week Festival of classes and workshops for children.

On Monday, April 16, Preschool Fun offers singing, sign, dance and drama for those age 3 to 5 (and an adult companion) from 10 to 11 a.m. School-age children on vacation are welcome to join in.

On Tuesday, April 17, artist Linda Stec will lead Clay Class, guiding those age 6 to 10 as they create a clay treasure to take home. From 10 to 11 a.m. From noon to 12:45 p.m., Jeff Weinberger, director of the Midcoast Ukes, will bring his ukuleles along for  students age 7 to 12 to explore.

On Wednesday, April 18, Scot Cannon returns with Music, Mime and Movement for age 5 to 12, from 10 to 11 a.m.

On Thursday, April 19, Puppet Play for ages 6 to 10 offers a chance to make colorful stick puppets and perform a short, classic story with them, from 10 to 11 a.m.

On Friday, April 20, arts educator Erica Thompson opens up the Art Bar for a project and then open-ended exploration, from 10 to 11 a.m.
