Spring must have sprung because the Rockland Golf Course is about to open for business.
The course is set to tee it up for the first time this season on Friday, April 13 at 8 a.m., said longtime course PGA Pro Keenan Flanagan.
The course typically is the first golf establishment in the area to open for business for its mostly elevated typography (especially on the front nine holes) and ability to dry.
All 18 holes will be open to walk and carts will be allowed on the front nine holes, cart path only.
The course will offer a Maine resident discount rate of $49, including cart, for 18 holes. There is no discount for nine holes.
The club's regular spring rates are $26 to walk and $40 to ride nine holes, as well as $40 to walk and $60 to ride 18 holes.
