Watch out: Woods listed among top high school-aged players in country

Sarah Woods, a freshman at Belfast Area High School, recently was named to the Max Field Hockey list for the Class of 2021, which lists some of the top high school-aged field hockey players in the country.

There are a top-100 players listed, including the “watch list” for players 101-150. Woods is on the "watch list" along with 49 other players.

Two other Maine players also are on the list, including Winslow’s Bohdi Littlefield and Skowhegan’s Hannah McKenney.

Woods played on the junior varsity team in the fall as a midfielder at BAHS and also plays defense on her club team, Maine Majestix.
