One day after they blanked Oceanside of Rockland to pick up their first win of the season, the Lions of Belfast were back on the high school tennis courts on Tuesday, April 24 against Erskine Academy of South China.

The Lions clawed their hardest, but it was the Eagles who soared higher and pulled out a 3-2 home victory.

At South China April 24, the individual results, with Belfast players listed first, were: In singles, Eli Jolliffe beat Nick Howes, 6-3, 6-2; Rudi Schnetzer lost to Sam Falla, 3-6, 6-2, 3-6; and Max Lewis beat Maverick Lowery, 6-3, 6-4.

In doubles, Josh Chun and Kyle Agbuya lost to Garret Keezer and Brock Glidden, 0-6, 3-6; and Dyllan Clark and Sam Spectre lost to Jacob Praul and Michael Sprague Jr., 0-6, 3-6.
