Belfast boys basketball summer camp offered

Belfast boys varsity basketball coach Marty Messer will host the 2018 Lions boys basketball summer camp at Troy Howard Middle School. The camp is open to children entering grades 3-9.

The camp will be Tuesday through Friday, June 26-29. For students entering grades 3-6, the camp will run 9 a.m. to noon, while for students entering grades 7-9, the camp will run 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The camp includes instruction on fundamentals in basketball, including shooting, defense and ballhandling. Team games, individual contests and skill-level appropriate drills will be included.

The cost of the clinic is $85 and enrollment is limited.
