Cold Comfort Theater has announced its cast for its upcoming production of Tom Griffin's “The Boys Next Door.” The heart-touching comedy will be presented Fridays through Sundays at 7 p.m., June 22 through July 1.

The cast features Dakota Wing as Jack Palmer, the counselor at a group home for the mentally challenged. Much of the play centers on his storytelling as he reflects on his unique role in the lives of four men: Arnold Wiggins (played by Nathaniel Gray,) Lucien P. Smith (Ben Trundy,) Barry Klemper (André Blanchard,) and Norman Bulansky (Matthew Norwood).

Latricia Graham plays Norman’s love interest, Sheila. Dorothy Wilson plays Barry’s greatest confidant, Mrs. Fremus, the elderly deaf neighbor who knits and “listens.” An unassuming neighbor looking for her son’s missing hamster is played by Hannah Richards; and the role of Barry’s estranged father is played by Jon Burroughs.

Aynne Ames directs the show, which will be presented at The Playhouse, 107 Church St. For more information, visit
