Maine’s 65 newest police officers have graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy May 18. The officers spent 18 weeks in study and training and most will begin patrolling immediately, in time for Memorial Day weekend enforcement efforts.

Among the new graduates were the following officers from Midcoast departments: Deputy Chase M. Bosse of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office; Officer Anne W. Griffith of the Rockland Police Department; Officer Jacob C. Labo of the  Thomaston Police Department; and Deputy Mariza N. Gionfriddo of the Waldo County Sheriff's Office.
