The Belfast Art Market returns Friday, June 1, to the lawn at Waterfall Arts, 256 High St., alongside the farmers’ market. There are many new juried artists this year, offering quality handcrafted and locally made products.

The market runs Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering a chance to meet the artists, learn about their process and materials and be inspired. Featured artist the first week is Jean Kerr Lewis, who paints ethereal pastels while studying the landscapes of Maine and traveling up and down the East Coast in her Airstream trailer. Her work is available framed and matted or as cards.
